I want to learn Kurdish because I am interested in Kurdish culture and would like to eventually work in the Kurdish autonomous areas of northern Iraq. I have zero experience in Kurdish; however, I speak Hebrew as my second language, and can already read and write Arabic characters. I'm preparing to take the TOPIK exam in June. I took a previous test and it seems I'm somewhere between a level 3 and level 4 (intermediate ). My goal is to ace the intermediate level, and especially become more proficient in speaking and writing.
I lived in Korea for 2 years - that's how I learned what I did, but now I live in the United States. I study for about 8 hours a week.
For a teacher, I need a jack of all trades - someone to help explain grammar points and to check over my compositions, then to chat for speaking practice. :D
