Please allow me to introduce myself to you. My name is Diana Ziman and I work for a language services company located in Philadelphia, PA, United States. We have been providing services for over 20 years.
Our main areas of service are language and intercultural training, translation, and interpreting. My clients are mostly relocation companies and large international organizations . We set up language and intercultural training programs for transferees all over the world.
In this case, we have a bunch of executives that are relocating in Seoul.

I would like to learn Catalan, because I travel to Catalunya twice a year, and I have many Catalan friends. I speak Spanish fluently and I love Spain. I know a few basic phrases in Catalan but I would love to learn more.
I need practice in almost every dimension of Catalan. However, knowing Latin and Spanish fluently really are a great help - I have almost no problem reading, but words that are more Catalan and Francophone give me some difficulty, as they are not cognates with what I know already.
I would dedicate at least a half hour a day to studying Catalan if I had a tutor.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, social, and flexible - granted that I am going to try my best to be the same. :) I would like to be able to have fluent conversation in Catalan someday, so that whenever I return to Catalunya I will be able to speak more and more with my friends and not feel like an outsider when they default to that language.
