I am a complete beginner having no background in any of the Balkan languages. My background is English and a bit of spanish.
I want to learn Slovenian because my fiance is a Native Slovenian and I'd like to be able to converse with him in his language as opposed to always speaking in English. Also, his family speaks Slovenian and many of them don't speak English at all.
I need improvement in all areas including grammar, conversation, vocabulary, etc.
I would be willing to dedicate an hour a day to my lessons.

I have been learning Slovenian on my own for 2 years now. I am learning it because my boyfriend is Slovene. I think it is quite hard to learn a language on your own especially if there is not so much material available. So I would like to try lessons via the internet, or even in person... but I don't think there are any Slovenians in Newcastle. I think I need particular improvement in expressing myself orally and in understanding what people say. I also need to learn more voabulary. I want to study Slovenian as often as I can but I think I will only be able to afford one hour per week, well, that depends on how much you charge. ;) I also speak German and French fluently.
