I have been learning Slovenian on my own for 2 years now. I am learning it because my boyfriend is Slovene. I think it is quite hard to learn a language on your own especially if there is not so much material available. So I would like to try lessons via the internet, or even in person... but I don't think there are any Slovenians in Newcastle. I think I need particular improvement in expressing myself orally and in understanding what people say. I also need to learn more voabulary. I want to study Slovenian as often as I can but I think I will only be able to afford one hour per week, well, that depends on how much you charge. ;) I also speak German and French fluently. I currently study the Slovenian language once every two weeks in a classroom of 25 students with a native speaker. I am looking for a teacher who could either video conference via the internet, or through e-mail assignments once per week for an hour at a time. I am married to a woman from Slovenia and in my wife's opinion, I am at an advanced beginner or an intermediate level. I understand more than I am able to speak.
