I lived in Latvia eight years ago as an exchange student and attended a Vidusskola in a small Latvian town. I am looking for a teacher or tutor to help me revive my Latvian language skills. Eight years ago my Latvian skills were on a conversationa l level. Today they are limited to passive understanding of written and spoken language, on a very, very limited level.
I wish to build my grammar skills, my vocabulary, and my conversationa l skills. I am looking for a native speaker of Latvian who has some experience teaching the language to non-native speakers.

I have not started to learn Latvian yet but would like to learn. I am from Latvia originally, visit often, and plan to live there eventually so I would like to be able to converse freely in Latvian and also read and write. Ideal lessons for me would be once a week. I am looking for a tutor who is either a native speaker or knows the language very well. I want to focus on speaking.
