I am a beginner, with a bit of knowledge, that is basic Afrikaans. I need to be able hold a constant conversation in Afrikaans. I am a Medical Rep working in East Rand, this could be of great benefit to my carrer development. I am looking for an Afrikaans teacher, who loves and understands what he/she is doing, someone with patience and tolerance.I have a lot of time on week ends,I can do 1 hour lesson during the week, and 2 hour lesson on saterdays.

I am a New Zealander and I want to learn Afrikaans for future career posibilities in Africa. I know one or two words so I am obviously a beginner. Primarily, I would like to learn conversationa l Afrikaans because being able to speak the language is more important at the moment than being able to write it. I can dedicate as much time as I need to learning the language, and at least one day a week. I would prefer a teacher whos native language is Afrikaans so that I can pick up on natural accent and I learn best in person, although the lessons do not have to be one on one.
