I am a beginner to the language. I was born in Pieta, Malta and moved to England when I was young. All my family live in Sliema and Gzira area in Malta and I would like to learn the language. I am a second generation Maltese Australian (I am a dual citizen) interested in learning the Maltese language. I have some experience speaking the language and I can understand it very well, however I have no experience in writing Maltese.
What course would be suitable for me? For instance if I complete a beginners course will I then be able to proceed onto a more extensive Maltese language course.
I am 21 years of age and looking at coming to Malta in the next few months. I am currently completing a University degree which will qualify me to be a Visual Arts High School Teacher.
Please send me any information that would assist me, I believe it is significant that I learn the Maltese language as it is very much part of who I am.

I would love to learn maltese, being half maltese, its always been in me to one day be able to speak the language, i know the basics, i am hoping to permanently move over there in a few months, so either anyone in england or in malta who could teach me, i would appreciate it alot.
