I know a little but am not sure of exact lesson as I have learnt alone. I am learning Persian because of interest and I want to be able to converse fluently in Iran. I can dedicate 2 or 3 hour lessons per week, or everyday if morning at my office. I need lessons to be economical, and for teacher to challenge me, only studying conversation but can do written/readi ng homeworks happily.

I received a certificate of completion for Advanced Persian (can't remember exact level)from the Deh Khoda Persian Language Institute in Tehran. I scored a 3+ (general proficiency professional plus) for Dari listening comprehension and speaking and a 2+ for reading on the ILR scale.
I neglected my Persian the past year and a half and need to get back up to speed on speaking and reading. My reading comprehension needs more work.
Purp ose: career advancement
Time commitment: 4 hrs/day (depending on cost), 5 days a week (at least until I get a job)
Impor tant qualities looking for in teacher: native speaker, trained in more modern pedagogic techniques and style, patient.

I'm a student, ESL instructor and journalist interested in developing my language skills for travel in the Middle East. I have a very basic knowledge of Arabic and Farsi, and am looking to improve both. I would also be interested in studying Turkish.
