I am a beginner. I have learnt a little in Japanses in primary school but am very interested in learning Chinese. I would like to learn Chinese as have extended family who speak Chinese. I would also like to persue a career in tourisim in the future. I ahve absolutley not expirence in learning Chinese. I would like frequent lessons each week. Dear Sir or Madam, I am looking for someone to teach me Yiddish as I have done some family history & found that my great, great, grandfather was a yiddish speaking person who was a Russian Pole. He was the treasurer of the Perth Hebrew Cogregation in the 1920's and I would like to know some grammar & conversation. I'm not sure if I need to learn some Hebrew as well. I know that he was fluent with the Hebrew language also. Some of my relatives went to Israel. I might like to visit there at some stage. I would like to go to G/G Grandfather's home town - but not to practise the language, as there are hardly any Jews left in Filipowo - in Suwalki in Poland.
Not sure how much time per week I need to dedicate to this.
Qualit ies in a teacher required- to be creative & modern but also know traditions of 'proper' language & pronunciation & proper grammar.

I have not even begun on the path to fluency in Portuguese, in fact I have really no knowledge of the language besides the common basics. The reason I would like to learn Brazilian Portuguese is simply for pleasure. I wouldn't mind dedicating time to lessons and I would like the teacher to be patient..
