I am a woman who wants to travel to Greece within the next year, hopefully this fall. I will probably travel alone and would like to be able to speak enough to get around. I've been to Greece on a tour and I know a lot of people speak English, but I used a cd to learn a few phrases. I intend to continue working with that, but I would like a live teacher to correct and guide me. I could work with someone once or twice a week and then practice every day on my own.

To whom it may concern,
I am interested in being tutored in the Greek language. I am a first generation Greek Canadian and am travelling to Greece to visit relatives this August. I have a beginner level of Greek as I was raised speaking the language at home. I am interested in working with a tutor anywhere from 5-10 hours/week as I have a full time job that I need to work around. My goal with the lessons is to improve my speaking, writing and comprehension skills leading up to and after my trip to Greece in August.

I am looking for a one to one tutor of the Greek language, I have a little knowledge of greek. I can speak & write a limited amount of conversationa l greek.
I wish to learn more converstional greek & wish to be fluent in both writing & speaking the language as my partner is greek & we may be moving there in the future.

I am interested in learning ancient Greek. I would be interested in individual tuition or a class. The goal of my studies is to be able to read and translate ancient Greek prose.
I would describe myself as a beginner. I studied Greek, briefly, in High School 20 years ago. Last year I started taking a class locally but, unfortunately , the class folded after 8 sessions because of low attendance. I am keen to find another way of continuing the studies which I so briefly began. I work full time (in a completely unrelated field) so lessons would need to be in the evening or at the weekend.

My name is Vicky Papageorgaki and I am relocating from the United States to Taipei with my family for about 3 years. I would like to hire a tutor for my 2 boys - George who is 10 years old and Demetri who is 8 years old. They are attending greek school at our local greek church at grades 5th and 3rd, respectively. I would like to continue the tutoring lessons for them. Grammar, conversation, syntax, reading at their respective grade competency level.
