Description |
My Japanese level is intermediate but I do not have a solid foundation of grammar usage. I would like to improve on grammar, conversation, and hopefully prepare for the japanese proficiency placement test. I'm looking for a fun and conversationa l teacher, yet teaches with structure to keep me on task.

Description |
I am an intermiedate- to-advanced speaker of Japanese. I studied Japanese in college and lived in Mie-ken for three years (2001-2004) after graduation, and am very keen to be able to continue to learn as well as maintain my conversation skills. I currently work for a company of which is a Japanese subsidiary; my job does not require Japanese and while I have the opportunity to speak often, it is not enough. For starters, I would like to meet one evening/week. I would like language lessons that revolve around book readings. I have several books (original Japanese as well as Japanese translations of English lit), and feel they would be a useful aid in weekly language lessons.

Description |
I am a beginner Japanese student. I have been trying to learn on my own, through friends of mine taking classes through their university, and through friends of mine who are foreign exchange students from Japan, however, none of these methods have really taught me more than general sentances (Hajimemashit e, Joe to moshimasu, O genki desu ka, etc.) I have purchased textbooks, again to no avail. I want to learn Japanese so that I can communicate with Japanese people that I know in their native tongue, so I can also understand aspects of the culture better (I love Japanese music and movies, and subtitles are very distracting), also, I want to teach english in Japan as a career, and learning the native language would be essential to surviving there. I definitely need improvement in grammar, conversation, sentance structure, essentially.. .I need to start from scratch. Im willing to dedicate at least an hour or two a week with a teacher (not to mention plenty of time at home on my own studying), I'd love to have more one-on-one time with a teacher, but I do work, and am also a full time college student. As far as a teacher is concerned, a native speaker would be ideal, also a comfortable learning atmosphere would be nice too, I'd love to be able to learn the language without fear. Also, someone relatively close to my town would be nice.

Description |
We are a background checking company, and in addition to domestic employment and education verifications , we often have clients that need information verified by employers or schools abroad.
We would like to have a pool of people who speak various different languages who we can call upon to complete these international verifications when they come up. There is no way to estimate how many verifications would be completed a month - so it isn't exactly steady work, but this would be ideal for someone who is doing language tutoring to make a little money on the side.
The verifications entail making phone calls and logging in notes and results online. Access to internet & email is absolutely necessary.
This calls for more than a rudimentary knowledge of the language. You must be able to converse with people in other countries for whom this is a first langauge - this also requires basic knowledge of the vocabulary associated with verifications . If you feel you are qualified, please contact us.
We are looking for people who are fluent one or more of these languages: A rabic, Armenian, Bulgarian, Cambodian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino (Tagalog), French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese.
