I recently visited China and fell in love with the language (Mandarin). I learned the extreme basics while I was there and have continued learning very slowly with an app but I'd still consider myself a new learner/begin ner. I would really like to learn to speak and understand the language with some basic reading (I've found that I'm better at reading than remembering the pronunciation s). I would like to dedicate about five hours per week to learning and I am looking for a teacher who is a native Mandarin speaker and who also speaks English.

I am learning Chinese because I love the challenge of this language. I am at a basic level of Chinese. I know the phonics, and know about 300 words. I want to work on speaking and listening (holding a conversation) . I want a tutor for 4 hours a week.
