I would be classed as a beginner,
There are two main reasons why I want to develop my skills in Spanish, they are travel and cultural interest.
Grammar and general conversation
I want to dedicate 1 night a week live in person to Spanish classes, then 5 or so hours on the weekend to study.
I am looking for lessons that are both practical and theoretical, along with being fun and full of variety.
I live in Balmain and am extremely interested in learning Spanish because I plan on travelling to Spain and South America next year,

I would consider myself a beginner. With the growth of the Spanish community within the Dallas area, I feel that it is my responsibilit y to learn the Spanish language. I also want to learn Spanish because I think it is a beautiful language. I am very interested in learning conversationa l Spanish. I am less concerned with grammar, etc. I would like to look into taking the lessons in person with a friend with a single teacher. By doing this, my friend and I learn at the same time with and from each other. I don't believe that I will be successful in learning Spanish if I don't have anyone else to talk to in Spanish on a regular basis. I want to spend as much time as it takes to become fluent in Spanish. I want a teacher that is good at helping me learn Spanish without making me feel foolish or that tries to beat me up over not learning quickly enough.
