I would like to learn turkish. I have started with a linguaphone book i bought myself. I would prefer a one to one tutor or even a classromm situation but trying to learn without sound is difficult.
Presently I am just trying to learn as i go, just trying to learn words, have problems with sentence structure.
I would like to dedictate some time for this but work full time, so a few hours one evening during the week or even at the weekends would be great.
I would like to be able to converse and understand turkish properly instead of just using broken words here and there although i know its a good place to start.

-I would like to learn turkish and I am am a very fresh beginner which means that I don't know anything. I want to start from level 0 as they say
-I love learning new languages and that is why I am majoring in translation, this is my 5th year and hopefullt this year i will get my Master's degree in translation

The most help i would need improvement in is grammar...I am a pretty fast learner when it comes to languages but i would have to say i would dedicate my time into this maybe twice a week...The qualities i would look for in my teacher would be not to strict but motivating... less casual talk more into the lesson...maki ng up new fun ways with the curriculum.

i am wanting to learn turkish as my husband is turkish and we have children and i would like them to learn too, we are also looking at moving back to turkey and as i am a qualified nursery teacher would like to open my own nursery i am learning as a beginner.
