I will be going to Ho Chi Minh City in August to live for at least two years.
Pri or to that I will live in Melbourne for six months.
I have never learned an Asian language before, but would like to learn beginner Viernamese before I go.
I would like to undertake at least one lesson a week, maybe two.
I would like a teacher to provide me with some confidence with survival phrases, as well as some insight into Vietnamese culture.

It all started in 2007, my friend went to Japan, and brought me back a Manga, She knew I lvoe Anime and reasing Manga's, but she did not know that I was unable to speak Japanese, she bought a magazine (or some sort) called 'ƒ‰ƒ‰' (RARA in Romanji, I think thats what it is called) Every since that day, I have been intrested in Learning Japanese.
I am a begginer at learning Japanese, I can read and write some of the Hiragana, can count to 99 (sadly enuf) and Speak a few phrases here and there. I am intrested in going to Japan and speak the Nataive Lanugage there (Japanese, also known as Nihongo) so I would be able communicate with them.
I would like to learn Japanese probably 2 times a week. I am looking for a teacher that is Highly recommended, can speak Both English AND Japanese fluently and is not more than an hour of traveling distance.
A bonus of me learning Japanese would be that I would actual beable to Listen to Japanese music, and fully understand them, watch movies in Japanese without reading the subtitle... and well Anime is the same reason to, subtitle are sometimes a drag, and ruins the whole series

I would like to the Thai language, more so for conversation.
Would prefere 1 to 1 lesson if possible. Perhaps on a weekly basis, or maybe twice weekly. I am a complete beginner. 32 year old male, so adult student and English is my native language, and basic French but that is all.
