Well I know the basics like Hello and say what my name is so Im a beginner. I want to learn Japanese because Im hoping to move and work there in the future. I need improvement in most area's because im only a beginner at the language but I would like to improve my conversation skills and also be able to read Japanese words and characters. Im willing to put as much time into as I can. It would be better if the teacher was a native speaker of japanese and able to speak good english.

I would like to learn Swiss German - not high German (ie. would prefer a Swiss teacher). I am moving to Switzerland in November 2004 and would like to get a head start.
I do not know any German at all but have learned some French at school and some Spanish since leaving school.
I would ideally like to commit 2 hours per week at least.

I have never learnt sign language, but i have always been fascinated by it. It is amazing how people seem to be able to communicate everything they want to say, without even having to talk. I would really like to be able to do that. I would like to dedicate up to 2 hours a week to my language lessons.
