I am a novice but I pick up languages very easily...most ly Spanish which is my second language, French and Italian. I would like to learn Albanian because I wish to teach English there. I would like to learn conversation, grammar and I am willing to dedicate 30 minutes every day. I am looking to be able to converse with my boyfriend who is Albanian but he speeks Greek but his family mostly speaks Albanian.

I know very little Albanian. I want to learn it because I am marrying an Albanian and it would be easier for everyone if I could learn to speak it. Ten years ago, I had a vocabulary of 300 Shqipe words and some simple grammar, but I have forgotten it. I am a law professor interested in the law of Albania, past and present. I want to be able to speak and read Albanian at a level allowing me to converse about law, interpret legislation, and write contracts, among other things. If I achieve this level of proficiency, I can teach law in Albania. During the next six months, I can set aside time for two or three lessons per week and the preparation in between, but I prefer a shorter and more intensive course of study.
