Hi, my name is Brittany. I'm a student at N.C.State, I am taking 2 french courses over the summer to graduate in the fall and am in desperate need of some tutoring. It has been about 5 years since I've taken any foreign language, and I'm afraid with the fast pace of these classes I'm going to fall behind. I would like private sessions and need to work on every almost every area. I will probably dedicate an extra couple hours of studying a day in addition to the hour and a half class at school. I have been interested in learning Japanese for many years. I recently began self study, and have made good progress in a few months. I grew up in France so I have an appreciation in the subleties of learning a foreign language. Japanese has always intrigued me due to its uniqueness. I enjoy a good challenge.
I would like to have the ability to practice conversing with a native speaker and to have some one on one tutoring on grammar.
M y schedule is very flexible with two weeks or so free each month. I would bee interested in spending a few hours during each of the weeks I have free to practice.

My 8 year-old son would like to learn French. I'm looking for a teacher for him. He's a beginner. I would say he could dedicate 3-4 hours a weeks. He was enrolled in Karate, but he decided that he want to learn to speak French instead. I guess I would like someone the would have enough patience to teach an 8 year-old.
