I was an intermediate to advanced (somewhere in between) in both Mandarin and Cantonese in September 1995 but discontinued study to relocate for school in California. I have been studying Mandarin on and off since 2006 in Seattle and my teacher will be relocating to Texas this summer. I am seeking a new forum to study Mandarin and ideally Cantonese as well.

My boyfriend and I are going to go to Thailand this summer to visit his khun yai. His mother is fluent but both of us are complete beginners.
