I am an absolute beginner in Vietnamese. I know enough to ask for certain food items. I am married to a half Vietnamese woman, and I would like to learn so I can communicate with her extended family better. Also, we have many friends who are Vietnamese that it would make communication easier with. No one seems to be able to teach me, as we don't know where to start. I would be interested in putting a good deal of time into it and learning quickly to meet my goals. I'm looking for a teacher that can be patient and give me direction.

My name is Chris. I am 29 years old, male, and half Vietnamese and half American. I can speak beginner Vietnamese, but want to study and improve so I can noi tieng viet va ma.
I am searching for a tutor that can spend 15 hours a week teaching me Vietnamese. I am in Vietnam for July only.
I would like to have a teacher that is fun, friendly, and can teach me current, conversation Vietnamese. Also, helpful if the teacher is young and female, so we can be friends.
