I am a writer, an adult American living in Dublin. I am getting ready to move to Barcelona in about six weeks. I have been around Spanish and Spanish speakers for much of the past eight years both socially and as a public school teacher in America, so I do have some basics... I have taken a basic Spanish course for teachers in America... although, for some reason, learning languages has always been a weak area for me. I tend to forget words, and I embarassed myself pretty good about five years ago when I was trying to speak Spanish socially, so I have not used what little Spanish I know. Mostly, I would like to go over the basics of every day Spanish speaking -- in restaurants, in conversation, on the phone, football matches (mi hijo es un jugador),soci al situations -- all the things I have forgotten! I would want to do some intensive sessions... maybe four times a week for the next five or six weeks. I have a car, so I can get to any place that is convenient for you. Also, I do not work, so I am flexible with class times.

My girlfriend and I have just started to learn Spanish, we learn Spanish from a CD,but we still feel the need to practice Spanish verbaly or undertake Spanish speaking classes.At the end we want to speak and write Spanish fluently!!
The main resone we want to learn Spanish, is what we want to go and work in Spain after we have completed our Masters Degree in 2008 (two years from now)!
We would like to have adout 1 to 2 classes per week, if posible.
