Hello,
I'm interested in learning Spanish primarily as an interest. I've been fascinated by the fact that it is the fourth most popular language in the world and also one of the languages of the United Nations. I'm a beginner and would like to read and speak Spanish.
I n terms of time, I would look at spending about 2 hours a week over a 3-4 month period. Perhaps from then on I should be able to reach a level where I can then take it forward on my own.
The teacher that I'm looking for should be patient and understanding and be accepting of the fact that I'm a beginner and will make mistakes.

I am a beginner, I know a few basics in spanish, but nothing to really hold a conversation. I'm looking to try & pick up as much spanish as I can within the next 2 months before I go on an overseas holiday to Colombia. I'd like to dedicate as much time as possible to get as fluent as possible within the time frame. The qualities that would be important in a teacher would be to tailor the lessons to maximise the amount of time I have to learn.

I have taken years of in school spanish courses as well as studying abroad to improve my spanish speaking skills, yet I feel that I still have a very long way to go. I would like nothing more than to say I am fluent in spanish. I speak basic conversationa l spanish but I would like to greatly improve my confidence in speaking as well as increase my vocabulary and fluency.
I have the month of May free in Treasure Island, FL and I will be in London from June 1st until August 19th. In either location I would like to find time to have one on one lessons maybe twice a week.
I want to have the ability to speak everyday spanish and be able to read and write at a higher level.
