I am a 21 year old student at the university of Ottawa who is searching for a teacher capable of teaching modern day Arabic. I am planning on taking a trip to the middle east during the Christmas/New Years holiday and would very much like to become somewhat fluent in the language. I'm planning on visiting Jordan, Dubai, and Lebanon. I realize this will be a challenge considering I have never spoken, or written any arabic ever before. I have a very flexible schedule and am willing to dedicate a lot of time to this endeavour.
I'm actually looking for a teacher who will be demanding and is also willing to spend a lot of time with me to learn the language.

I am moving to Morocco at the end of August and would like to learn the basics before I go. I am a beginner level looking for help in reading the alphabet and working on some basic phrases.
