i do not speak the language at all and would like to learn it. I am keen to go to a class that would have interactive sessions and would like to meet people as well at these classes as i have recently shifted to baltimore and would like to meet people. I live in Towson, so it would help if the classes are conducted close by.

I am interested in learning Spanish, French, and Arabic! I only have beginners knowlege in Spanish, I can read it much better then I can speak it. I am able to say very simple phrases but it doesn't come very naturally! I am looking to improve my accent in Spanish since I sound very gringa when speaking Spanish :).
I would love to dedicate as much time to learing these languages as my check book will allow. I understand that it is probably best to learn one and a time so I understand that this may take a while to become proficent in any of these languages.
I am looking to learn multiple languages because I think it is important in today's global society. I would also like to get a degree in international relations and I need to be proficent in a language before I can enter in the program. I would also like to work for the state department one day.
I am looking for a teacher with a lot of patience. I also have a very busy schedule with work and school during the week. I am open Friday nights as well as Saturday and Sunday early evenings. I am not sure if it is possible to find a tutor for these times, however I am in a LSAT prep class during the day and can not miss it.
If it is not possible to get weekend classes I would be willing to wait until I am out of school this summer to start but I would prefer to start before then.

Greetings
I am a 64 year old retired lawyer.
I want to learn Spanish (starting as a beginner)for three reasons. My stepdaughter and her young daughter are bi-lingual (Spanish and English) and it would be great fun, and useful, to converse with them. Second, my wife and I will soon be traveling and I want to have the advantage of being able to use Spanish. Third, Spanish is becoming increasingly valuable to know here in the US. My modest college French lessons regrettably are no longer very useful!
I have made the commitment to learn Spanish. That is not a question. The only question is finding a really good, cost effective course with a good teacher who will be enthusiatic about teachng an adult. And one who will be flexible in designing my couse work. I assume that having a native speaker is preferable but references will be helpful in making my selection.
I should be able to devote time quite diligently to study. I began my search for a teacher today- March 1

I am a beginner and very interested in learning Spanish language. I want to learn this language because I know I could use it whenever I get to talk to native Spanish speakers and for work too. I'd like to learn how to converse fluently, or even just almost fluent.
As for the meantime, while I am working in the office and will be processing papers going abroad, I would like to spend the other sparetime I have to study.
A teacher would be just like a friend or someone who's just naturally conversing with his students, in that way, learning is fast and easy to remember. Also, not letting the students 'self-study', just like what some other professors do in college, because if they do, I really feel like they don't deserve to teach and get paid.
