I'm a beginner learner, Why I want to learn Japanese is because I would one day love to travel to japan, to live maybe. So I need to learn this language. I have had a fondness for japanese since I was young. With all my heart I would love to learn, it would make me complete. I have felt for so long, like I wasn't complete. I need to learn! I't gives me so much joy to watch anything japanese, or watch anime, of even try to read japanese mangas. I have tried to learn on my own, but it never works. I need to be taught. I need someone to show me how it's done. I will dedicate as much time as possible to learn japanese... I just want to have fun with my lessons... and my teacher... This would make me the happiest person alive... and one day I would teach my daughter japanese.

Looking for beginning Japanese. Homeschooled 17 year old who could drive to lessons. Class size 1-whatever. Want to get equivilence of one year of high school Japanese. Doing this for elective in high school. Can work daily on homework. Want to meet 1 or 2 times per week. Teacher preferred to be Japanese or have lived several years in Japan. I started learning Japanese last August, useing the computer system Rosetta Stone, but its been a year, and I got half way through the first program, but had to start over due to our computer crashing. Rosetta Stone has'nt gotten me very far, once I started it back up. Thats why I'm looking for a tutor who I can talk to face to face. In a couple years, I hope to go to Japan as an exchange student for a year, so I really want to be very fluent in the japanese language.
