I would like to learn Arabic because I am a recent revert to Islam. I would like to be able to read the Qur'an in Arabic but also to acquire a suitable level of proficiency in day-to-day conversation with Arabic speakers as I would like to travel in Arabic countries one day, Insha'allah.
I have unlimited time but unfortunately not unlimited resources, so I would like to learn as much as possible in about a year or so.
I would like a one-on-one lesson but also interaction with other students in conversation at some point would be fantastic.
A teacher should be dedicated and serious in purpose. I don't want to learn Arabic for my career - I want to learn it for my life and spiritual development.

I've taken Arabic lession before, watch a lot of Arabic Language TV, but I still fill I'm falling short of where I want to be. ALSO, I KNOW THAT MY HUSBAND WOULD BE PROUD OF ME THAT I MADE THE EFFORT TO LEARN ABOUT HIS CULTURE. IT IS SOMETHING THAT I CAN SHARE WITH HIM. I REALLY HATE IT WHEN MY HUSBAND IS SPEAKING ARABIC AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE IS SAYING.
