I have been learning Russian for 2 years for fun. I am planning a trip to Russia next summer so want to continue to improve. I have been going to lessons in London but am looking for a tutor closer to home. I am equally keen to improve my knowledge and understanding of grammar as well as spoken Russian. I am looking to have an hour long lesson either weekly or fortnightly. I am hoping to find someone who wants to be quite flexible about times of lessons.

I want to learn some Egyptian Arabic before going to Aswan for the sixth time this coming winter. At the moment I know none. I am a language teacher myself (of German and French) which may or may not be helpful! I should like to be able to conduct simple conversations , and cope with common social situations - but I think that I will flounder unless I have an understanding of the basic grammar : I am not much good at parroting. I am happy to give five or six hours a week to this.
