I have just started learning Farsi using the Rosetta Stone software. I studied Near Eastern history and archaeology (as well as Arabic) in Chicago. I would like to learn Farsi to help me conduct research for a book about the historical and archaeologica l sites in Iran.

I have completed year 1 Arabic at the University of Edinburgh, however I was not able to complete year 2 which started Sept 07 due to a personal issue. I will be returning to the University in September 08 to complete year 2 and am seeking tutoring to get back to the standard that will be necessary after my time away from the University.
I feel I need improvement in all areas and will be willing to dedicate up to 3 days a week to language lessons.

I with my Husband and family have been going to the Greek Islands on holiday for five years. We visit Kefelonia every May now. It is our intention to semi-retire to Kefelonia. I have some knowledge of the Greek language including the alphabet and a little reading and writing. I can speak some Greek and i wish to improve in all areas of the language and beable to speak fluently and flowing conversation reading and writing in all areas.
