I would like to learn Cantonese because my family speaks it and I would like to travel back to HK and know the basics at least! I took a Cantonese course over 5 years ago, it was a small class but there wasn't a lot of one on one time. I can understand words here and there but I can't hold a conversation. I would like to spend a fair amount of time learning because I would like to keep it once I know it. I just want to be able to pronounce words properly so others can understand.

I am a beginner to intermediate level mandarin speaker and would need some private lessons to advance in real estate sales and better communication in conversationa l skills. Two to three hour instructions a week, knowledge in quick learning skills because I am a quick learner! In 2 years time I am moving to the Philippines to live. I am also married to a Filipina who has limited teaching skills. I am not learning as fast as I would like. I have a very basic understanding of ther language. Conversation is where I would like to begin...gradu ally expanding to grammer. I can calculate the amount of time better when I have an idea of the times the instructor has availble as I am fairly flexable.I would like a teacher that can understand when we can go quickly and when we have to take more time on certain areas.
