hello,
The reason I am learning foreign languages is simple; they are my passion. I speak decent German, took two semesters of French back home in South Carolina, will soon take Finnish for Foreigners at the University of Helsinki, and am teaching myself about five other languages-som e with ease, some with difficulty.
I believe my German level is intermediate, perhaps my French too, mais je ne sais pas. I know some Norwegian, however I am still a beginner, and a beginner at Swedish. I can say a few things in Greek and have a book I use to study it. However, I really really want a teacher for Greek. I know absolutely no Burmese but it is a language I really want to learn.
Everyday, I study language and if I had teachers to help me, I would increase my study time. I am serious about foreign languages and hope to find knowledgable, patient, and understanding teachers. I promise I will not let you down.

I would like to learn Russian. I think it´s necessary language and I have bigger chance to find a good job when I return to my country. I´m a begginer( I know how to read an alphabet and few phrases) and I need to improve quickly because in the autumn I´m going away (probably).

I am going to be moving to Switzerland soon with my husband and 2 kids (2 and 4) and would like to start learning some basic German before we get there. I am a beginner, although did have some German lessons (long forgotten) at High School.
We move in the middle of August and are away for 3 weeks in July but I would like to try to cram some lessons in between now and when we leave.
My older child is at day care, but my 2 year old is at home with me - so lessons would have to happen with him present - preferably at my house.
It would be nice for both kids to learn German while we're in Switzerland and if there was something I could do lesson-wise to help them start that would be great too.
