I wish to learn to speak Gujarati. I travel to Ahmedabad, and on to Bhuj several times a year, I visited initially because of my interest in textiles and costume, and from this I have developed strong friendships with some really great people, many who have good English language skills. I have enjoyed many rewarding and enjoyable exchanges with non english speakers there also, and I would really like to be able to develop and contribute more to these situations. I consider it likely that I will want to do business there eventually, and this would make knowledge of the local language extremely important, as the people I would need to communicate ideas with are likely to have a basic education at best, and very likely no English. I realize that in the region I visit the Kutchh language is also widely spoken, however feel that Gujarati would be a good place to start. I have just returned from my fourth trip there and am making plans to go again in May. I would like to devote a considerable amount of time to language study on this visit, and would love to get a head start before I go.

I would like to learn Gujarati to speak it with my friends. My proficiency level is nonexistent and I have never spoken the language before. I would like to learn how to have basic discussions. At this stage I do not know how much time I would like to dedicate to the study of the language. The quality I am looking for is a teacher that is patient with someone new to the language.

I think my proficency level should be intermediate. I speak gujarati but i make lot of mistakes in sentence formation and grammer. My vocabulary is not bad but i have problems in grammer.
I want a tutor who can help me in speaking well. I can spend time but i want that i should start speaking 100% fluent.

Beginner at Hindi.
I know how to read and write hindi, and I can understand to some degree but I want to get proficient at speaking and communicating in hindi fluently.
Wi th gujarati, I can speak to some degree (slightly better than hindi but nothing impressive). However, I cannot read and write in gujarati.
I want to work on grammar and conversation for hindi and if possible gujarati as well.
My primary objective is to improve my hindi grammar and conversation so I can speak hindi fluently.
