I am looking to learn Hindi from the beginning of june to the beginning of august. I would like the learn Hindi as I frequently travel to India and intend on living there after my degree and think knowing the most spoken language would come in use. I do not know any Hindi so it would literally be teaching from the basics.
I would prefer to do group lessons as money is an issue but realise this is more difficult to organise and run than private tuition. I would like to perhaps do 2-3 hours of Hindi learning a week but am very flexible with this and realise it depends on the style of teaching and availability. I would like a patient but encouraging teacher who is good at communication as I do not find learning languages that easy.

I lived in India for 6 months and while I was there I learnt a little Hindi but really it is very, very poor! However, I would like to pursue it even though I am not very good as I would like to return to India and also would like to challenge myself by learning something I find difficult to understand.
