As a Christian i want to read the Hebrew Bible to be able to learn the deeper meaning into the Word which is usually lost in the translated versions.
I'm beginner in this language, i have learned the alphabets, and i can read a few words but i don't know what they mean.
So i want a teacher who can teach me Hebrew and more about the Jewish culture preferably on Saturdays.

I am a seminary student who will be spending June and July of 2004 in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. I would like to get a head start on learning Hebrew before I must take a class at the seminary this fall. My goal is to read the Old Testament in Hebrew, so I am looking to learn Biblical Hebrew. I have no experience with the language, only a desire to learn more about my faith. I would very much like to pay a teacher to meet with me once a week to work on Hebrew lessons, and I would be more than willing to do homework assignments in between our weekly meetings.
