I lived in Nepal for 9 months and became conversationa lly proficient while there. I became close friends with my host family, all of whom only speak Nepali. Now back in the US, I want to continue regular contact with my host family, both via phone conversations and written letters.
In my lessons, I want to continue speaking Nepali regularly, as well as learn new vocabulary to describe my day-to-day activities, and learn new grammatical structures. I'd also like to continue learning to write Nepali (spelling especially).

Traveling again to Nepal. I can read many Nepali words though I do not know their meaning. I know the Nepali consonants and most vowels. I would like to make sure I am sounding the words properly and have some better understanding about how sentences are formed.
