I wanted to learn Mandarin and Japaneses to benefit me and I want to learn Korean because I would like to live in South Korea after college. I am now focusing on leaning Korean and I would like to begin from the very beginning. I would like to spend at least 1 hour on each lesson. I have traveled to Slovakia several times as a missionary. I spent three months there this summer, and fell in love with the people, and the country. I wish ti learn the language to help improve relaitonships , and possibly live there one day. I am seeking a teacher that will provide conversationa l Slovak lessons at lesson 1-2 times a week.

I have to Latin America on a regular basis (at least monthly) for my job. The people I deal with on a business level all speak English. However, I would like to be able to understand them when they are speaking Spanish to each other. I also believe it would benefit me to be able to speak to them in their own language.
I have gone through about 1/2 of the level 1 Rosetta Stone. I know a lot of words in Spanish, but can only communicate in the most rudimentary, broken, Spanish.
I don't really care about being able to write Spanish. Being able to converse in Spanish is want I want to learn.
I would like to do one lesson a week in Spanish.
I would like a teacher that has good people skills and will be patience with me as I learn this language.

I am a beginning to learn Hungarian after visiting Hungary for a week last summer. I made many friends and plan to return in Feb. and July this year with a possiblity of moving to Hungary by 2010. I need to start at the beginning since I only learned a few simple phrases last summer. I would like to meet 1-3 times a week for lessons and conversation or for a longer span of time on the weekend for just 1 day. For me, the best way to learn a lanugage is to use it in 'real' situations. I know that grammar and spelling are important and would like some things to work on in between meetings. For lessons, mock conversations and games where I would need to use the language in everyday situations would be good. I learned colors and numbers playing UNO while in Hungary. A cooking lesson, a trip to the grocery store, pretending to be at the airport, etc would all be helpful. I will be teaching English this summer so phrases that teachers use would also be helpful.
