I am a beginner in the Portuguese language. Though I have traveled to Lisbon four times in the last five years, I still know very little. I do know some very basics, and can seem to understand the language better than I can speak it. I want to learn Portuguese to better communicate with my friends in Portugal, even though they speak English quite well. I feel this is an important step to be able to communicate with them in their language as well. I am interested in conversationa l Portuguese to start, but am open to instruction. I am willing to dedicate a couple of hours per week to lessons as well as more time on practice.

I am just begining to learn Arabic.I Know a few phrases and words.I am learning Arabic because of the wide variety of middle eastern people in my area and also out of interest and to know another language other then english.
I do need work in all of the areas,but i am a fast learner.

Beginner, becuase I am Greek and plan on traveling to Greece to visit relatives and would like to speak and read it. Don't know anything about the labguage, I just remeber some words from my childhood. I would like to have 1, 1 hour lesson weekly.
