Hello I am a beginner, I have tried to teach myself by using tapes and cd's. I fell that I will learn better with a personal instructor. Hello. I am trying to learn very fluint Croatian. I am somewhat of a beginner. I know the pronounciatio ns of the alphabet and simple words and phrases. The reason I want to learn Croatian is that my girlfriend is Croatian and none of her family speaks english, therefore, I have no way of communcating with her family. She and I have plans for the future together and communicating with her family is very important. I would like to be fluint in all aspects of the language as much as possible. My schedule changes quite a bit, but I would like to spend a lot of my time in learning the language so that I would learn faster and have a better understanding of the language. However, I may be moving to Ft. Myers, FL in the next few months with her. In a teacher, all that I would really ask is for patience and being able to explain the rules of the language on why some things are said the way they are or what the rules are in why you change the text or grammar of the words. Also, in a teacher, speaking freely with one another to become a trustworthy friendship is important. Thank you for you time. Please, help me.

I am strictly a beginner, at Bahasa.
I am learning it because it's a beautiful language, and because I plan to eventually move to Indonesia to live.
I can dedicate a lot of time to studying this language, as I am eager to learn it and want very much to be able to carry on conversations with people. More likely, you will not have enough time for ME (smiling).
I am looking for a teacher who can help me in more than just vocabulary and pronunciation ; I need to learn about the culture of Indonesia as we go along. I prefer to meet and learn from someone who was raised there, if possible.
