My father is from India and we were never taught the laguage. I would like to learn so I can speak with my family. I have very very very little verbal background. I can understand children, and food-related conversation- but that's about it.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am extrmely interested in learning Gujarati. I have relatively no prior expirience with the language. My wife is Gujarati and when she and her family speak to eachother in Gujarati, I hear the beauty and the melody of the language. I have a great desire to communicate with my new family as they have taken me in with out question or judgement. I am most interested in conversation, but I also require fundamentals. I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to fully understand the language, not just a few phrases. I would like an instructor who will not only teach me the words and sentences, but why things are said the way they are and how they fit in to the Gujarat culture. Thank you for your time.
