I am very excited to learn Brazilian Portuguese. I learned to surf in Bahia in November and want to return to Brazil for travel and also for work, and I am determined to speak to the wonderful people of that country. I know rudimentary traveler's Portuguese. I learned a fair bit of French in my youth, so learning another language is not impossible for me! I am planning to return to Brazil again in October so I would like to discuss a program that would both accomodate my busy schedule, my budget and my willingness to learn!
I am hoping I can find a patient, intuitive teacher who is very organised and has a good structure to her/his classes. I also have a friend who is interested in taking lessons, who is at the same level as I am

Onze zoon Tim is naar Canada verhuist in 2003 en heeft canadees onderwijs gevolgd vanaf grade 5 (zou in Nederland naar groep 6 gegaan zijn). Wij zijn op zoek naar een leraar die Tim volgend jaar (ons laatste jaar in Canada) kan klaarstomen voor middelbare school toelatings examen. Ik neem aan dat het in theorie ook iemand uuit Nederland zou kunnen zijn, maar dat is minder makkelijk door het tijdsverschil van 9 uur. Wie kan ons helpen. Waar Tim waarschijnlij k in bijgeschoold moet worden is Nederlands Schrijven (we spreken thuis gewoon Nederlands), Aardrijskunde (hier in Canada leer je niet de hoofdsteden van Europa) en wellicht wat geschiedenis en wereld oreintatie.

I will need beginner lessons in french for business purposes, I work in the field of IT and will need to understand the lingo in french as well. Hi,
To fill you in on what I'm looking for...
I have taught English in South America and I do have a general grasp of the language.
I will be starting a one year International Business course in September and would be looking for lesson that are tailored to that.
General Spanish classes are good too, but if you have any specialized classes I would love to hear about them.
And the upcoming available dates as well would be great. I am willing to start ASAP (June 2005).
If you do have teachers available for 1-1 I'd like to hear about that too:)
