I am wanting to learn Korean because I love the language, the history of royalty, the culture, the dramas and also k pop I would love the opportunity to fully understand and learn the language but in a more educated way. I plan on going on an exchange in 2014 to South Korea and my future plans are to become fluent, come back to NZ get my English degree and become an English teacher in South Korea.
I am a Beginner.
I defiantly need help with writing but I think I need help with everything really.
10 hours a week - Learning Korean during my free periods in my time table at school.
Some one who is going to help me achieve the best to my ability, someone who is willing to answer my questions even if they are very basic and lessons that are challenging with everything I need to learn to be able to hold conversations and become as close to fluent as I can by the end of the year.

Initially learning Korean was just based on my interest in Kpop and Korean drama but I developed a huge interest in Korean culture, and therefore hope that one day I can work in Korea for maybe a few years? I'm still studying my part time degree but I'm planning to start to take TOPIK examinations soon.
I'm currently taking lessons in NUS Extension and have just finished till stage 4. Stage 5 is starting soon but I'm planning to see if I can get private Korean tuition to learn more.
I'm not sure about my current level of the language as I haven't taken any examination to test my current grasp of the language.
I hope to have lessons during the weekends as I'm working full time during the weekdays. I also don't mind going to the teacher's house as long as it is near to my place.
I'm looking for someone who is a native Korean residing in Singapore, dedicated, friendly and fun to get along with. I want someone whom I can practice speaking Korean with but most importantly, someone who has experience in preparing students for TOPIK examinations.
