I'm interested in learning Russian. I know very basic phrases, but that's about it. I want to learn it for fun. I have Russian friends that I think it would be nice to talk with in Russian. I've always had an interest in learning Russian. I would like to have one session a week and then work on what we went during the week. I'm looking for someone who is experienced and has effective teaching methods. Also, someone who is friendly and makes learning the language fun.

I know very little croatian, though my uncle and grandpa speak it (they are from the Dalmatian Islands region), and I travel to croatia often so I have been exposed to the language a lot. I would like to learn Croatian for my travels there. I could dedicate almost every night to learning the language for a hour or 2. I'm looking for a teacher that can teach me the dialect spoken in Split, not in Zagreb or other parts of Croatia. I would like a teacher who could help me learn skills in a way that I can apply them to the language and someone who can be patient.

I am looking for a teacher or a language program to help me along with my private study of Japanese. Learning a language independently creates a lot of barriers, so I would like a teacher to be the one guiding me.
I am still at a beginner level, and I would like to be fairly proficient within approximately two years, to enable me to become an English teacher in Japan once I graduate.
Since I am a college student, I would prefer to have my lessons either between two school classes (I have a 3 hour break several days a week), after school (in the evenings), or on weekends.
I am looking for a teacher who is strict, but not one that will get angry, or laugh at me for being wrong, or not turning in my homework. Someone that is easy to talk to and get along with would be best. Experience is a must, of course. References would be appreciated, but they are not necessary.
