I represent a college in Spruce Grove, AB, and we are currently looking for a Spanish Teacher who would be interested in teaching Level 1 Spanish starting Sept 19. We will be offering 2 classes, 1 on Mondays for 10 weeks and a class on Saturdays for 10 weeks as well. Each class will be 2 hours in length, with a class average of about 12 people or so, depending on registration.

proficiency level:I have travelled to south america and have come back from spain just three weeks ago. my spanish is basic and allows me to get around and ask questions.
Learning Spanish for enjoyment and to be able to speak another language besides english
I need to pick up my conversation skills dramatically and my grammer. basically I need regualr practise as I only speak English every day.
Id like to spend at least 1 hour per week doing lessons and a couple more study myself.
Id like a teacher who is a native speaker that can help me more with conversation than grammar.

I am interested inlearning spanish for a few different reasons, 1) My son is hispanic and so is my husband. 2) I want to be able to communicate with my husband is spanish. 3) It will be useful to me at work, as I have a lot of spanish speaking clients. 4) I LOVE the language and have always wanted to be able to speak spanish.
