I understand Punjabi but can only speak small phrases. I want to become fluent so I can have conversation with family and friends. It is very strong desire to learn Punjabi so I can feel good about about being able to speak. I am tried of being ridiculed for not speaking Punjabi. With right teaching and practice I think I can become fluent fairly quickly.

I am currently taking Japanese classes at my college- and I really feel a tutor would help reinforce what I am learning as well as help me advance more. I'm at level 3 in the college, but I don't feel like I have learned enough. We have studied verbs (not dictionary form), ordering food, shopping, and talking about time and class/daily schedules. I know hiragana and katakana and a few very basic kanji.
Ever since I could remember I have been really interested in the Japanese language as well as culture. I hope to find a career in which I can use Japanese.
I feel I need improvement with grammar/sente nce structure, conversation, and expanding my vocabulary.
I would like a teacher who could meet me at the minimum of at least twice a week. I would also like a teacher who is very knowledgable about Japanese language as well as the culture.
