I am a beginner with very little knowledge of Japanese but am very serious and eager about learning it. I'd like to learn Japanese as I'd like to work in Japan in the next few years; as I am a beginner I feel I need improvement in of course all areas. I would liek to dedicate to language lessons however much time per day that the teacher was to think appropriate from experience but also that it be steady, something like every other day. As for what I am looking for in a teacher, I basically would appreciate anyone who has experience teaching the language so that their methods are effective in learning, someone who is dedicated, and most of all actually Japanese so that I can learn the proper pronunciation , intonation etc. Arigatou!

I can speak English and Cantonese and am currently taking Spanish classes at school. I am interested in learning the Japanese language because it will give me a career advancement. I have not yet recieved any formal training in the language, however I look forward to receiveing some. I am willing to dedicate an hour a day for 4 to 5 days per week. I am also looking for teachers with previous experience and creative teaching styles.
