Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Tanya Trinh and I am currently studying in a Bachelor of Medical Science at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. I will be completing this degree at the end of this year and hope to progress to Medicine next year.
I am a keen and enthusiastic learner and am wanting to learn another language because I have been doing so for a large part of me life (Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese) and wish to consolidate my Japanese skills and pick up a European language. Learning languages is something I find interesting and engaging, and is a favoured past time of mine, especially as a contrast from my degree which is all about science!
I was born in Australia and speak fluent english.
I realise that I may have misinterprete d the 'Language I am Learning' section - I wish to learn these languages, and to start off with, any one of them is fine. I have no experience of the European languages but I have studied Japanese for seven years (primary and highschool Japanese).
In Japanese, my weaknesses are conversation and writing. In the European languages, as I have had no prior experience with them, I would need coaching in all areas.
I can dedicate roughly three hours a week during semester time at uni but more (ie five) during the breaks.
I am looking for private or small group teaching and would appreciate flexibility and understanding in the event that my classes at uni change. Evening classes are also possible. I am looking for an enthusiastic and patient teacher who is able to relate the language to real life contexts as well as formal skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. I would be very interested in teachers who encourage more about their learning ie travel, food, culture etc rather than only the four basic skills.

I would like to learn spanish. I have just started it, but I am not satisfied with the available language school here, I am looking for a good solution to learn and improve my (future) spanish. I need it for my career, but I like this language, too. As a beginner, I think I am interested in all areas of language learning, my purpose is to pass at least an intermediate level in one year both in oral and writing skills. As I work in a flexible time schedule, almost any solution is applicabble from my part. My native language is hungarian, I also speak spanish. Note: I learnt english almost completely by myself and I passed the minimum professional levels of reading, speaking, listening and writing. I think I could learn spanish the same way with some help.

I am a beginner and am in desperate need of some help learning Spanish. I am facinated with the language and have only reached a certain point by following books. I want personal contact to build my confidence and progress in a launguage that I know will be most helpful in the future. I like a teacher that is caring, incitefull, and likes teaching Spanish.
