1st generation American - i have a fluent conversationa l level of speaking, but a very basic (2nd grade) level of reading and even more basic level of writing. I would like to become more proficient in my native language to keep my heritage, as well as to teach and converse with my white husband and my new daughter.

I am a 25 year old woman who would liek to be able to speak some basic Vietnamese because of the area I live in, and because I will be in Vietnam for 2 weeks for a friend's wedding in October. I hope to begin lessons as soon as Mid-April, and wrap up the basics in June. If the lessons are affordable, I would love to continue year round.
