Hi. My friend and I are interested in starting lessons in German....bot h of us are beginners, and would like lessons together, perhaps once or twice a week. If only one per week, maybe they could be a bit longer. We want to learn German simply for personal development.. ..both of us travel quite frequently and have found that german would be a valuable skill, as many germans also travel and speaking to them in their native tongue would be a nice change. We think that a teacher should be quite friendly and approachable, and be willing to teach in a relaxed manner and atmosphere.

I would describe my profifiency level as between beginner and intermediate. I am en experienced ESL teacher and understand the challenges of language teachers.
Cu rrently I work in communication s and media relations and I would like to improve my French conversation skills for personal, social and career reasons. At this point I am not too concerned with writing.
I am very interested in public and current affairs, so I would like a teacher who would enjoy reading articles with me from a French newspaper such as La Presse, and discussing them with me. I am basically seeking a conversation partner in other words. I would like about two one and a half hour lessons a week, after work or on weekends.
