I am a beginner. I want to be able to speak different languages for employment purposes and just to be able to help translate for people who don't speak english. I also want to be able to teach my children a different language. I have at least 2-3 hours a day, that I can dedicate for language lessons. I am a beginner in Russian. I only know approximately 30 words or that I can say and I have been to the former Soviet Union a few times and I have enjoyed my time there. My reasoning for learning Russian is because my lady who I am corresponding with is Ukrainian and I want to have Russian as a second language so that I can speak to her in her language. I feel I need help in everything, I will devote as much time as needed until the instructor and I feel we are confident that I know Russian as a second language. Qualities I am looking for is an instructor who is patient, can make it interesting and is able to work one on one.
