Hello. I have been asked to move to China to take up a senior management position. Whilst I can expect that English will be spoken within the office environment, I have been advised to expect very little english spoken outside of that in the local community.
I will relocate within one to three months; as early as October. I will be based in Suzhou but also working in Tianjin each week. I will be in a University environment.
I would like to learn the most I can about Mandarin and the Chinese business culture. I would be available for 2-3 hours per day for the next few weeks.
I hope to hear from you soon so that I can progress my learning quickly and be respectful of my hosts when I arrive in China.

I want to learn Chinese because I love the Chinese culture and people. Hope to return to china one day to work or working holiday. My level is beginer, but have learnt a little bit. I need more help in all aspects of the chinese language. I would like to dedicate a far bit of time on my lessons. Mabey one lesson a week to start then mabey more. I am currently studying Chinese, Mandarin at University and am looking into Studying, working and living in China in the near future. At current I am a beginner and am looking to improve my proficiancy in all areas and in particular conversation. I wish to dedicate between two to four hours a week to language lessons in addition to University related work. The qualities that I am looking for in lessons are understanding ness and willingness to help but strict discipline in correcting mistakes and errors as well as a constant reinforcment of what was learnt in previous lessons.
