I am an ESOL teacher and I would like to be able to communicate with newly arrived students and their parents. I also want to be able to communicate with my boyfriend's Spanish speaking family. I am a beginner and I can understand more than I can produce. I want to concentrate on speaking and conversation. I am serious about learning and will study and practice daily.
Qualities I look for in a lesson include introduction of new vocabulary and phrases, as well as allowance for conversationa l practice. I like for teachers to be patient, down-to-earth , and good humored.

I have not taken any Arabic classes, but as i recently accepted a job in Saudi Arabia, I would like to have at least a basic knowledge of the language before I depart the country. I am currently a student at GSU. I am in my first year of Arabic at the intermediate level. I am interested in learning Arabic because I plan to visit the Middle East after graduation in the spring. I feel that I need much improvement in Arabic grammar and pronunciation . I am looking for a hands-on teacher who is encouraging and patient. My son just turned 3, and he is soaking up information like a sponge. I am looking for a class or tutoring to teach him Spanish. I wanted to work with Mariana Diaz, who teaches by conversation rather than vocabulary and grammar, and it sounded like a great approach. But Mariana is returning to Argentina, so I am back to square one. I am looking for someone experienced in teaching pre-k Spanish to children, which I imagine is very difficult to do with their very short attention spans and only wanting to do what they think is fun. My zip code is 30309, and not driving terribly far is important, as I work a lot.
