I have never learned Hindi in the past, but I am fluent in both English and French, and I am a rather studious and fast paced learner. I would like to learn Hindi because post achieving my Assoiates Degree in Women's Studies, I wish to spend to years abroad in India to learn about global feminism with women in India. I am able to devote weekly or bi weekly appointments for lessons and I am more than willing to study on my own time. In a teacher I am looking for someone who is open minded and cultured and who is willing to create a personal connection with me as a student.

To Whom it may concern,
I have always had an interest in Asian cultures, Korean and Japanese in particular.
I am very much a beginner, having not had lessons in either language.
My interest in learning this/these language/s is for personal growth. I am also planning to visit both countries in the next 2 years.
My schedule can afford one or two days a week on lessons, currently.
I seek to learn not only the language/s but also much about the culture/s ie: Customs (family,socia l etc), Cuisine, Propper Etiquette in social situations as well as spirituality/ mythology.

My nine year old daughter wants to learn Moroccan Arabic so that she can communicate with her Moroccan father. He lives in Morocco now and she wants to begin to develop her language skills. She is interested in many other languages as well, but this is her first choice. She is smart and a good student. She is working on a Rosetta Stone course at home as well.
